About me.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and received my Master of Social Work from West Virginia University in 2017. I have experience working in the human services field since 2008, working in in-home, outpatient, primary care, and residential settings. I’ve provided direct care, case management, crisis intervention, counseling, assessment, and therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with mental health disorders, substance abuse, disabilities, and trauma. I am use a blend of clinical skills, along with compassion and empathy, to facilitate change in the context of a caring therapeutic relationship. I draw from a variety of therapy models including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, EMDR, ERP, and person-centered techniques. I am also certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy. I specialize in working with teens and adults who are struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, and coping with life’s challenges.
